I think it's a fantastic tool to invest in no matter what you’re doing with your career or your life. And ultimately it changes and shifts your entire view on the world—at least that's what it did for me.

I'm an INFP, and you're ENFP. So super similar, but also really different… (After understanding our MBTI personality types) life in general has been a lot more smooth relationally.

Well the first thing I would probably tell you at least someone with a type that's not very common is that it made me feel comfortable in my own skin...

How it works

Three steps to a type you can trust.

  1. Step 1: Take the assessment

Answer the official MBTI® assessment online, on any device, in about 20 to 30 minutes. No right or wrong answers.

  2. Step 2: Confirm your best-fit type

A short guided session, about 10 to 15 minutes, walks you through each preference so the type you keep is the one that fits.

  3. Step 3: Put it to work

Your report, courses and tools for everyday life, your career and your team. Everything stays in your account.

More about how it works

Why the official assessment

It’s not a quiz. It’s insight, then action.

Backed by research

Built and maintained by its publisher, with 70+ years of research and evidence of reliability and validity behind it.

You confirm your type

A quiz hands you four letters. Here a guided session helps you check each preference and choose the type that fits you best.

Made for action

Your report, courses and tools turn what you learn into what you do next: at home, at work and with the people around you.

Gifting

The most personal gift you’ll ever give.

Give any MBTI® option, from $59.95. We email your recipient a code, and they redeem it whenever they’re ready.

Common questions

Is this the official MBTI® assessment?

Yes. The Myers-Briggs Company publishes the MBTI® assessment, and this is where you take it online yourself. Many free online quizzes borrow the four letters; none of them is the MBTI® assessment.

Which option should I choose?

MBTI® For You ($59.95) is for understanding yourself. MBTI® For Your Career ($79.95) adds career matches with predicted satisfaction. MBTI® for Teams ($99.95 per person) covers a whole team of 3 or more. You can upgrade later and keep your results.

How long does it take?

The assessment takes most people 20 to 30 minutes. Confirming your best-fit type takes another 10 to 15. You can stop and pick up where you left off.

I already know my type. Do I need to take the assessment?

If you took the official MBTI® assessment with us on app.mbti.com, no: your results are already in your account, and every report and course builds on them.

If your type came from a free quiz, another platform or our previous site, yes, and it’s the best part. The assessment takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Then a guided session walks you through each preference, so the type you keep is the one that genuinely fits; your Myers-Briggs® Profile report is written from your own answers; and your courses are built around them. A label tells you what you are. This shows you why, and what to do with it.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes. Buy any option as a gift and we email your recipient a code to redeem.
